CISER grew out of Casa do Aço, a Brazilian steel trading house founded in 1881. In 1959 Carlos Frederico Adolfo Schneider turned it to manufacturing, and it is now the largest fastener producer in Latin America.

Casa do Aço is founded in Joinville, trading imported steel products and exporting Brazilian goods.
1959
Carlos Frederico Adolfo Schneider founds CISER and moves the business from trading into fastener manufacturing.
Growth
Expansion into automotive production at Sarzedo and a dedicated industrial park at Araquari, alongside the Joinville head plant.
International
Distribution centres opened in the United States, China and Peru; exports today reach more than 25 countries.

Amini Building Materials Trading L.L.C.
Established in Dubai in 2003 and licensed by the Department of Economy and Tourism for building and construction materials trading, ABMT supplies contractors, distributors and factories across the Gulf and the wider Middle East. It represents CISER in the region, and also holds the regional agency for TUPY cast iron fittings and MWM diesel engine parts.
